Sarah Seven Studio

 Wedding Wednesday

Today was spent running around in my yoga pants and sneakers while I packed and then unpacked boxes full of sparkly bridal things and wedding dresses. Because today I moved the shop to a new location!! With the help of Sarah's parents (they have done so much work these past few days for me!) We moved into a more quaint area of Portland, with cute boutiques everywhere! I'm really excited for the women that are my new neighbors! I love the look of the new shop, (credit again goes to Sarah's parents and her talented husband James) if only you could see the before pictures! (It could have been condemned) Introducing, the new Sarah Seven Portland boutique!!! Make an appointment with me to try on these beauties!!!

Cheetahs & Rhinestones: Oh MY!

 

Here's to hoping the leopard print and rhinestones will cure my Monday Blues! This is the first week of Mr being back at school, which means it's the first week of a long 9 month road that includes letters, skype, and hours of phone conversations. You see, Mr is back in Idaho being all professor like and finishing up his Masters. This girl?! She's in Portland writing for all of you! So cheer up with me and enjoy this dress/ blouse/ thingy form H&M that is way too short for me and will never make it out in public again ;)

Sequin Editorial by Nasty Gal

 

Nasty Gal is an online boutique that features fashionable clothes for the bad ass rocker in every woman. And this editorial blew me away- I love everything about the sequins. That sequin maxi skirt? So flattering and stunning, I'd even get married in it. (Seriously considering it and just realized they've already SOLD OUT) ugh.... of course. Regardless, sequins!!! Wedding gowns & Giraffes. Yes, yes times ten million! I am so in love with this shoot. I am an African Studies Major and love all things Africa- including their animals! When I mailed this gown last week I had no idea it would be surrounded by Zebras and Giraffes! Dream with me, shall we?

Sarah Seven and Stonehenge

This week I am out of town helping Mr. settle back into life as a teaching professor and Masters student. We decided to take a road trip out to the school allowing more hang out time before we begin year two of long distance (booo)! In this series I have styled my favorite Sarah Seven dress, my birthday present two years ago (as seen on Anna Kendrick the Twilight wedding) with my favorite blazer from our trip to New York in the Spring. This blazer is probably my favorite souvenir yet.
