My Closet: Pin-Up Grandma

I was told this shirt looks like a grandma should be wearing it... it's probably my favorite purchase this season :) I love these wine pleather pants but to be honest.... my legs could not BREATHE in those babies! Not because it fit too tight, but because it was so hot underneath the cute wine colored exterior. This week is full of photo shoots and designing pretty things for the next Sarah Seven collection, I hope all of you have great weeks! Anything exciting planned?!

Fashion's Night Out: Portland Edition

Last night was a fun and well deserved evening full of fashion, new friends, and finger foods galore. Fashion's night out celebrates your city's local stores and promotes buying within your own community. I brought my iPhone to capture the rest of the night since I forgot to charge my camera's battery!
 (letter pressed napkins in gold!)
Are those straws not the cutest?! After the sights, my friend Esti and I (photo above thanks to Esti!!!) decided to go shopping, and had fun trying on items like this fur poncho :)
I hope you had a lovely Thursday!!! Happy Friday to you! What are your plans this weekend?! I'll be busy sewing!!

Seeing Red in the Orchard

Being shop manager of Sarah Seven in Portland has it's perks, one of which is playing dress up :) This gown was in Portland for a television debut! Before it flies back to LA, I wanted to show you how styling a maxi dress (or gown) can be as simple as just adding a few accessories! This red carpet gown looks casual thanks to a wool hat and over sized blouse! Would you wear this?!

Leopard & Sequins OOTD

Fall 2012 style is proving to be exciting! I love all the wine colored skirts and dresses I'm seeing mixed with animal prints! Mr took these photos of me while we were in Idaho, we had spent the day vintage hunting and I found myself a new bracelet and 'new' watch... from Mr's personal collection ;) He has the greatest style,  one of the reasons I am so lucky!! For this outfit I found my Banana Republic Monogram sequin skirt (hiding in the back of my closet dying to be worn), and paired it with one of my favorite blouses. If you don't know how much I love sequins, you should read this post!
